Textbooks are often uninteresting, and wordy but I actually appreciated this book so I wanted to give it some credit. It's the only textbook I have ever wanted to keep for future reference and research. Feb 14, Rachel Bayles rated it really liked it.

Good overview - solid, clear,and concise. Well-written and well-organized with plenty of examples. Why you should take this course? Do you wonder why, our fish are severely over-exploited? Record numbers of known wildlife species are going extinct?

We seem to care little about the long-run well being of our forests? Some cities sprawl, while others have high density?

Or do you care about other similar questions? If you do, this course is for you.
